Terms of Service

Welcome to BloodWorks. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BloodWorks website and platform, including all courses, tutorials, assessments, and certificates. Please read these Terms carefully before registering or making a purchase.

By creating an account or purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Student", or "you") and BloodWorks ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying customers of the platform.

By using BloodWorks you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the site.

Registration

To access paid courses you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your login credentials with anyone. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@bloodworks.in.

One Account Per Person

Each account is for one individual only. Sharing an account to give multiple people access to a course is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension without a refund.

Account Deactivation

You may deactivate your account at any time through the Account Settings in your Dashboard. Upon deactivation, your account will remain recoverable for 30 days. After 30 days, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted. Active course access will end at the point of deactivation.

Course Fees

All course prices are displayed on the platform. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes (including GST at 18% for Indian users) will be added at checkout.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets. By completing a payment you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service. BloodWorks does not store your card or bank account details.

Discounts

• Student Discount (25%): Available to students enrolled in a recognised medical or paramedical programme. Requires upload of a valid student ID for verification. We reserve the right to revoke the discount if the ID is found to be invalid or fraudulent.
• Referral Discount (10%): Applied when you enrol using a valid referral code from an existing BloodWorks user.
• Bundle Offers & Seasonal Discounts: Available periodically. Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change course prices at any time. Price changes do not affect courses you have already purchased.

As BloodWorks provides access to digital content (video courses) which are made available immediately upon purchase, refunds are limited. Please review our refund terms carefully before purchasing.

What You Get

Upon purchasing a course, you receive personal, non-transferable access to the course content for the duration specified at the time of purchase. This includes video content, course materials, and quiz access.

Free Tutorials

Free tutorials are available to all visitors without registration. Tutorials do not include assessments or certificates. They are provided for general educational purposes only.

Access Duration

Course access is valid for the period displayed on the course page (typically 6–12 months from date of purchase). After this period, access may expire. We will notify you before expiry.

Platform Availability

We aim to keep the platform available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure events may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

Video Hosting

Course videos are hosted on YouTube (unlisted). Continued access depends on the availability of the hosting service. In the rare case of a video becoming unavailable due to a platform issue, please raise a support ticket and we will resolve it.

Each BloodWorks course includes a final assessment (quiz) required for certificate eligibility. The following rules apply to all assessments:

• Each assessment consists of 20 randomly selected questions from a larger question bank
• The passing mark is 80% or above (16 out of 20 correct)
• You are allowed a maximum of 3 attempts per assessment
• If you fail all 3 attempts, you must re-watch the course content before further attempts are unlocked
• A 30-minute time limit applies to each attempt
• Questions are randomised in each attempt — you will not receive the same set of questions
• Correct answers are not shown after the quiz — this is intentional to maintain assessment integrity

Eligibility

A BloodWorks Professional Development Certificate is issued only upon successfully passing the course assessment with a score of 80% or above. Free tutorials do not carry a certificate.

Nature of the Certificate

BloodWorks certificates are Professional Development Certificates issued by BloodWorks as evidence of course completion and assessment performance. They are not government-issued qualifications, degrees, or licences to practice. They do not replace formal clinical qualifications required by regulatory bodies in India, the UAE, or any other jurisdiction.

Certificate Authenticity

Each certificate carries a unique certificate number and can be verified at bloodworks.in/verify. Employers, institutions, and other parties may use this page to independently verify any BloodWorks certificate.

Revocation

We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if it is found that:

• The certificate was obtained through fraudulent means (e.g. cheating on the quiz)
• The student ID used for discount verification was found to be fake or invalid
• The account was used in violation of these Terms

Certificate Records

Certificate issuance records (name, course, certificate number, date) are retained by BloodWorks for verification purposes, even after account deactivation or deletion.

All content on BloodWorks — including but not limited to course videos, written materials, images, graphics, quiz questions, course structure, and the BloodWorks name and logo — is the intellectual property of BloodWorks and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws in India and internationally.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the course content for your own professional development. You may not:

• Download, copy, reproduce, or redistribute course videos or materials
• Share your login to give others access to paid content
• Record, screen-capture, or re-upload any course content to any platform
• Use BloodWorks content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Claim authorship of any BloodWorks course material

The following actions are strictly prohibited on BloodWorks:

• Creating fake or multiple accounts to circumvent rules, restrictions, or discounts
• Uploading fraudulent student IDs or identity documents
• Attempting to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or exploit the quiz system
• Sharing quiz questions or answers with others (online or offline)
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts or platform data
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access course content
• Posting offensive, harmful, or misleading content via support tickets or contact forms
• Impersonating another person or BloodWorks staff

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, forfeiture of all purchased courses and certificates, and legal action where applicable.

Educational Purpose Only

All content on BloodWorks is provided for educational and professional development purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, clinical guidelines, or a recommendation for patient care. Always follow the protocols of your institution and applicable regulatory standards.

No Guarantee of Employment

BloodWorks certificates demonstrate course completion and assessment performance. We do not guarantee that a certificate will result in employment, promotion, or recognition by any specific employer, institution, or regulatory body.

No Regulatory Approval

BloodWorks Professional Development Certificates are not currently accredited by any government body, professional council, or CME-granting authority in India or the UAE. They are educational certificates issued by BloodWorks as a private platform. We are transparent about this and do not misrepresent our certificates.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BloodWorks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or harm caused by reliance on course content.

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of BloodWorks.

For UAE Users

Users accessing the platform from the UAE acknowledge that BloodWorks is an Indian-based platform. While we strive to comply with applicable UAE consumer protection and data protection laws, all contractual disputes are subject to Indian jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us at support@bloodworks.in to resolve the matter amicably. We will make every reasonable effort to address your concern within 10 business days.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect (unless changes are required urgently by law).

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of BloodWorks after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
